First Board Meeting of Proposed “Jol Chaya Eco Resort” Held

The first board meeting of the proposed Jol Chaya Eco Resort was recently held at Hotel InterContinental Dhaka. The meeting focused on the upcoming resort project, which is set to be developed in a naturally scenic environment along the banks of the Turag River, near Iarpur Bottola—just 3 kilometers from Zirabo, Ashulia, on the outskirts of Dhaka.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the current status of the project, construction progress, future plans, and strategies for enhancing customer experience and service quality.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of Jol Chaya Eco Resort, Engr. Mohammad Shahriar Khan, and the Managing Director, Architect Md. Abdur Rahman Nipu. Also present as Directors were Md. Hasan Imam, Dr. Md. Mesh K. Alam Jony, Md. Nazmul Haque, Md Hssan Imam , B.A. Wahid Newton, Md. Belal Hossain, and Shahinur Islam.

With a blend of nature, aesthetics, and modern facilities, Jol Chaya Eco Resort is envisioned as a unique, eco-friendly, and contemporary resort. It is a promising project under Nex Real Estate.

It is worth mentioning that Fervent Architects & Engineers is serving as the architectural consultant for the project, Mechanix Interior as the interior consultant, and Brand Story as the branding partner.

Stakeholders expressed optimism that Jol Chaya Eco Resort, being developed along the Turag River, will become a distinctive addition to the country’s tourism sector by combining natural beauty with modern living experiences.
