The outline of the national government will be announced within the next 24 hours, said Nahid Islam, coordinator of anti-discrimination student movement. He said this at a briefing at Tejgaon in the capital today (Monday, August 5).
Nahid said, ‘The outline of the national government will be announced within 24 hours. All common students are requested to stay on streets until this outline is announced. We have to be careful that the fascists do not question this movement.’
He also said that all the prisoners, including the royal prisoners, should be released within 24 hours.
The coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement said, ‘We dedicated this student reception to those who were martyred in the movement. Our one-sided demand was the fall of dictator Sheikh Hasina and abolition of fascist system. Just moving the person won’t solve it. All those who support fascism must be brought under punishment.’
He said, ‘Everyone should keep an eye on the country’s state resources so that they are not wasted. No one should incite communal incitement. We do not want any loss of life. I will stay peacefully on the streets.’
