The Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) will organize its four-day Summer Housing Fair from August 12 at the Shaheed Abu Sayeed International Convention Centre, aiming to boost the country’s real estate sector and provide homebuyers and investors with a comprehensive platform for housing-related services.
The fair will feature leading real estate companies, construction material manufacturers and suppliers, as well as banks and financial institutions. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of apartments, plots, and housing projects while also receiving information on home loans, financing options, and investment opportunities under one roof.
The announcement was made following the first meeting of REHAB’s Standing Committee for Press and Media, held at the association’s office in Dhaka. The meeting was chaired by Tasnova Mahbub Salam, Director of REHAB and Chairperson of the Standing Committee.
According to a press release issued by REHAB, the Summer Housing Fair is expected to inject new momentum into the country’s housing sector by strengthening connections among developers, financial institutions, and prospective buyers. The event will also showcase ongoing real estate projects, modern construction technologies, and innovative building materials.
Speaking at the meeting, REHAB President Ali Afzal emphasized the importance of media support in promoting sustainable growth in the housing sector and enhancing consumer confidence. He expressed optimism that the fair would encourage new investment and stimulate property transactions across the country.
Among those present at the meeting were Senior Vice President Abdur Razzaq, Vice Presidents A.F.M. Obaidullah and Md. Harun Or Rashid, Standing Committee for Press and Media Co-Chairpersons Touhida Sultana, M. Shakhawat Hossain, and Mohammad Mobarak Hossain, along with committee members M.
